Shiba Inu collaborates with Travala to launch an exclusive offer
Shiba Inu has collaborated with the cryptocurrency travel booking platform Travala to present a special deal for SHIB holders.
Shiba Inu owners can now get R428 in free Travala travel credits.
Travala has released an "exclusive special" in collaboration with the memecoin, as reported by SHIB in a tweet.
With this new promotion, all Shiba Inu owners are entitled to receive R428 in free travel credits on the booking website.
To obtain the credits, users must simply go to the link supplied by the SHIB Twitter handle and establish a new account or login with an existing one.
Travala is a well-known blockchain-based travel booking platform that allows users to book hotels, flights, and activities with a variety of payment options, including cryptocurrency. Binance, the market's largest crypto exchange by trade volume, is backing the platform.
Currently, the booking website allows a wide range of cryptocurrencies as payment options, including (but not limited to) Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tether USD, and Litecoin.
In May of last year, Dogecoin surpassed its competitor by becoming the first memecoin to be listed on Travala.
However, Shiba Inu quickly followed, as the travel site began accepting SHIB payments in December of last year.
Travala also established Dtravel, a home-rental service that competes with Airbnb, last year. Naturally, the portal accepts cryptocurrency payments.
SHIB, falls to 15th in the Top Crypto List.
Shiba Inu has had a rough month thus far, as the FTX crash has dealt a huge blow to the memecoin.
SHIB's price is currently trading around R0,00015, down 1% in the previous week. The cryptocurrency has lost 12% of its value in the last month. While all cryptos have suffered as a result of the FTX collapse, SHIB has been particularly weak in comparison to the other leading coins.
As a result of its decreased strength, the meme coin has dropped two ranks to the 15th position on the market cap list, from 13th to 15th.
