About Sibanye-Stillwater

Sibanye-Stillwater is a large, diversified precious-and-battery-metals mining group, producing gold and platinum-group metals (PGMs) in South Africa and PGMs in the United States, along with a growing exposure to battery metals such as lithium and nickel for the energy transition. Built through rapid acquisitive growth, it is one of the world's biggest PGM producers. Listed on the JSE, Sibanye's earnings are geared to gold and PGM basket prices, the rand and its cost base, so its profits swing sharply with metal prices. It offers investors leveraged exposure to precious metals and an option on the metals underpinning electrification.
