Elon Musk requests screenshots from Twitter engineers as proof of work
Musk, Elon Twitter News: In a new step, Elon Musk is requesting evidence of work from engineers in the form of screenshots. This comes after he fired Twitter employees for publicly criticizing him on social media.
Musk had already written to employees, informing them that they will be required to work long and arduous hours. He also offered a three-month severance payout if they resigned. Following this, Musk received backlash from both Twitter users and workers.
Indeed, some of the ousted employees continue to openly criticize Musk's management style at the social media company.

Elon Musk Requests Twitter Engineers' Screenshots
Musk recently wrote to his engineering team about their capacity to 'actually write software.' According to an email from Tesla CEO Elon Musk, if any of the engineers believe they are capable, they should report before sending Musk a summary of their achievements in the last six months.
Musk has sent a new email to the technical team, instructing them to provide 10 screenshots of the "most salient lines of code." The email says, "Anyone who can write software, please go to the 10th floor at 2 pm today." Please provide me a bullet point overview of what your code commits have accomplished in the last 6 months before doing so."
Twitter management advised employees on Thursday that the offices would be closed and badge access would be suspended until Monday. This caused a great deal of uncertainty among the personnel. It is believed that the offices were closed in order to streamline existing employees' access to the software. Meanwhile, Binance CEO CZ praised Elon Musk for the recent modifications he made to the social media company.
