- The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) will temporarily close its head office, call center, and self-help service centers in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town from 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, for the Easter holidays.
- The affected CIPC offices will reopen at 08:00 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, following the Easter Monday public holiday on April 10, 2023.
- During the closure, individuals and businesses are advised to use CIPC web services at www.cipc.co.za, www.eservices.cipc.co.za, and www.bizportal.gov.za for information and services related to various Acts, including the Trade Marks Act, Patents Act, Design Act, and Copyright Act.
The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has announced that its head office, call center, and self-help service centers in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town will be closed to the public from 12:00 PM on Thursday, April 6, 2023, in observance of the Easter holidays.
The affected CIPC offices include:
a) The Department of Trade, Industry, and Competition (DTIC) office in Sunnyside, Pretoria; b) The Norton Rose House office in Cape Town; c) The Sancardia Building office in Arcadia, Pretoria; d) The Talis House office in Johannesburg; and e) The Trade and Investment KwaZulu Natal (TIKZN) office in Durban.
The offices will reopen at 08:00 AM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, following the Easter Monday public holiday on April 10, 2023.
