In an official announcement, Tsogo Sun Gaming Limited has unveiled its new corporate identity as Tsogo Sun Limited. The change of name was approved by shareholders during a General Meeting held on May 31, 2023.

The Companies and Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC) has already issued an Amended Registration Certificate, confirming the company’s new name. Tsogo Sun Limited will commence trading on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) under its new name on Tuesday, June 13, 2023. Importantly, the company assures stakeholders that its rich history and operations will remain unaffected by this change.

Despite the rebranding, Tsogo Sun Limited will retain its share code (TSG), alpha code (TSGI), short name, sector, and ISIN (ZAE00273116). This decision aims to provide a seamless transition for investors and maintain familiarity with the company’s existing presence in the market.

To ensure a smooth transition process, Tsogo Sun Limited has released key dates and times for shareholders to take note of. The last day to trade shares under the current name, “Tsogo Sun Gaming Limited,” will be on Monday, June 12, 2023. Trading under the new name, “Tsogo Sun Limited,” will commence on Tuesday, June 13, 2023.

The record date for the change of name is set for Thursday, June 15, 2023. On Monday, June 19, 2023, the accounts of dematerialized shareholders held with central securities depository participants or brokers will be updated to reflect the new name.
