Upon collection of the accreditation cards, attendees will need to present a valid ID or passport, as well as a press card or letter of assignment from their respective editor.

Journalists using passports as identification should ensure that their passports remain valid for at least 30 days beyond the expected date of arrival in South Africa. It is important to note that at least two pages of the passport must be unused when presented for endorsement.

To apply for media accreditation, interested individuals must complete the media accreditation form available at It is crucial to fill in all the required fields accurately, as incomplete forms will not be accepted. The deadline for media accreditation is set for 11 August 2023. It is important to note that the deadline will not be extended, and late applications will not be accepted.

The collection of media accreditation cards will take place at the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel in Sandton. The specific date for collection will be confirmed closer to the event. Once issued, the accreditation cards are non-transferable and must be retained throughout the duration of the summit.
