Omnia Holdings Limited (JSE code: OMN) has announced the awarding of Performance Forfeitable Shares to a director, the company secretary, and prescribed officers of the company. This move, in compliance with paragraphs 3.63 to 3.74 of the JSE Listings Requirements, aims to align the interests of key individuals with the long-term success and performance of Omnia.

The awards were granted following approval by the Omnia Remuneration and Nominations Committee and are subject to specific performance conditions. These awards were made on 3 July 2023, with a vesting period of three years. Clearance to deal in terms of paragraph 3.66 of the JSE Listings Requirements was obtained in this regard, ensuring compliance with all regulatory obligations.

In order to satisfy the requirements of the awards, Omnia purchased a total of 348,525 ordinary shares on the market at a volume weighted average price per security of R56.94. The total deemed value of these securities amounts to R19,845,000.
