The company, incorporated in the Republic of South Africa, aims to expand its market presence with the issuance of 300,000 new debentures at an approximate price of R165.00 per debenture.

The latest move marks a significant development in the NewPlat ETF, a popular investment vehicle backed by platinum. The increased number of debentures demonstrates growing investor confidence in platinum-backed securities and offers enhanced opportunities to participate in the platinum market’s potential growth.

Following the successful issuance, the total number of NewGold Platinum Debentures in circulation now stands at an impressive 49,300,000. This milestone showcases the increasing attractiveness of platinum-related investment instruments among discerning investors.

Absa Corporate and Investment Bank, a division of Absa Bank Limited, has been appointed as the JSE sponsor for the NewGold Platinum Debentures, while Cirrus Securities will take on the sponsorship role in the NSX market.
