Globe Trade Centre Announces Dividend Payout for 2022, Rewarding Shareholders

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (“GTC” or “the Company” announced the distribution of dividends for the fiscal year 2022. The decision was made during the Company’s Annual General Meeting held on June 21, 2023.

The resolution passed during the meeting, resolution no. 5, authorizes the distribution of profits among GTC’s shareholders. Under this resolution, GTC will distribute a total dividend amounting to PLN 132,078,678.06. The dividend is derived from the financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2022, indicating a profit of PLN 108,934,000. Additionally, a portion of the retained earnings from previous years, totaling PLN 23,144,678.06, will be included in the dividend distribution.

Shareholders will receive a dividend of PLN 0.23 per share, applicable to all 574,255,122 shares of the Company. This dividend distribution showcases GTC’s commitment to rewarding its shareholders based on the Company’s solid financial performance.

The dividend payment schedule has also been disclosed by GTC. The dividend record date has been set for Friday, July 14, 2023, with the last day to trade cum-dividend falling on Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Following this, securities will trade ex-dividend starting from Wednesday, July 12, 2023. The dividend payment itself is scheduled for Friday, September 15, 2023.

Globe Trade Centre S.A. has additionally provided specific dates for dividend payments on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) for its South African shareholders. The conversion rate of PLN into ZAR currency for the dividend payment will be announced by Tuesday, July 4, 2023, at 11:00. The last day to trade cum-dividend on the JSE is set for Tuesday, July 11, 2023. Trading of securities ex-dividend will commence on Wednesday, July 12, 2023. The record date for dividend entitlement for JSE shareholders is Friday, July 14, 2023, and the payment date is Friday, September 15, 2023.

During the period between Wednesday, July 12, 2023, and Friday, July 14, 2023, both days inclusive, shareholders are advised that share certificates cannot be dematerialized or rematerialized. Additionally, the transfer of GTC shares between the Polish share register and the South African share register will be temporarily suspended during the same period.

The Company’s announcement of dividend distribution adheres to Article 19 point 2 of the Regulation of the Minister of Finance, dated March 29, 2018, pertaining to current and periodic disclosures by securities issuers, as well as the conditions for recognizing information required by the laws of non-member states as equivalent.
