BNP Paribas Reveals Lucrative Coupon Payments for Index Securities

BNP Paribas Issuance B.V made an important announcement regarding coupon payments for its index securities due on 17 June 2027. Holders of the Index Securities, with instrument codes ZA244 and ZA245, have received notification of the coupon payment details.

For instrument code ZA244, the interest payment date has been scheduled for 19 June 2023, and it carries an attractive interest rate of 57.25%. Holders of ZA244 will receive an interest rate of 5725 cents per share. The settlement of this payment will occur electronically, following the guidelines set by the JSE (Johannesburg Stock Exchange) Rules.

Concurrently, for instrument code ZA245, the interest payment date is also set for 19 June 2023. The interest rate for ZA245 stands at 28.625%, providing holders with an interest rate of 2862.5 cents per share. Similar to ZA244, the settlement for this payment will be conducted electronically, complying with the JSE Rules.

It is essential for holders of BNP Paribas’ Index Securities to take note of the salient dates related to these coupon payments. The last date to trade for both instruments is Monday, 12 June 2023. The ex-date is scheduled for Tuesday, 13 June 2023, and the record date is Thursday, 15 June 2023. Finally, the payment date for both instruments is set for Monday, 19 June 2023.
