AngloGold Ashanti Limited announced today that shareholders have approved a special resolution regarding the remuneration of non-executive directors. The decision was made at the general meeting of shareholders held on 5 July 2023.

The special resolution, as outlined in the Circular distributed on 6 June 2023, received the necessary votes from shareholders present via electronic communication or represented by proxy. A total of 345,653,757 ordinary shares, representing 82.40% of AngloGold Ashanti’s issued share capital as of the Voting Record Date on 23 June 2023, were voted through these means.
