Discovery Limited made a significant announcement today regarding changes to its executive team. The company has appointed new Group Company Secretaries following the resignation of Ms. Nomalanga Nobuhle Mbongo.

Effective May 31, 2023, Ms. Ayanda Manqele, the current Deputy Group Company Secretary of Discovery, has been appointed as the Acting Group Company Secretary. She will hold this position until August 31, 2023. With her extensive experience and knowledge of corporate governance, Ms. Manqele is expected to ensure a smooth transition during this interim period.

Looking ahead, Ms. Ayanda Ceba will assume the role of Group Company Secretary at Discovery, effective September 1, 2023. Ms. Ceba brings a wealth of expertise to her new position, having previously served as the Group Company Secretary and Ethics Officer at Telkom Limited. Her impressive educational background includes a BProc, LLB, LLM in Corporate Law, and CIS (Corporate Governance Institute of Southern Africa) qualifications. As a qualified Chartered Company Secretary and a Fellow of the Corporate Governance Institute of Southern Africa, Ms. Ceba’s appointment underscores Discovery’s commitment to maintaining strong corporate governance practices.
