Press Statement | 25 October 2021: To help ensure consumers get easy access to their everyday banking needs without the burden of traveling too far, Standard Bank is excited to have officially opened the Namakgale Kiosk in Phalaborwa town in the Limpopo Province.
“Ensuring easy access to banking needs is the core of our existence. Making this kiosk a reality for the communities of Namakgale and Phalaborwa is a proud moment for us as we understand how much they needed to travel when a need to do banking arises. Now, people won’t need to travel as far when it comes to banking; instead, they can get everything done at the kiosk easily”, says Andries Ndlovu – Head: Consumer Clients, Limpopo North Coverage, Limpopo Province.
With dedicated consultants, Standard Bank customers can use the kiosk for general banking queries, as well as sign up for products like MyMo, Young Professionals, MyMo BIZ, Instant Money, Pure Save and Flexi Funeral Cover. They can also access business banking, home loan applications as well as credit card applications and more, whilst still making use of our App which is the 24/7 branch in the palm of their hands. The self-service options that come with the kiosk are ideal for people who cannot access the Standard Bank app to complete transactions.
The opening of the kiosk is continued evidence of Standard Bank’s dedication to providing quality service to their clients, regardless of where they are – just one of many ways that communities like Namakgale will benefit from the bank’s innovative offerings.
